"It" Girl Infatuation: OPI Skyfall Collection

Sunday, November 11, 2012
Hello, my lovely "It" Girls. I know, I vanished for a minute. As you surely understand, an "It" Girl has things to do and places to be. But, just as Rihanna can't go more than a year between albums, I can't stay away for too long.

This weekend, the bestie and I saw the latest James Bond film, Skyfall. The movie was fantastic, and a true nod to the classic Bond movies of yesterday. Plus, who can resist Daniel Craig as 007?

One thing which particularly caught my eye was Bérénice Lim Marlohe as the mysterious Sévérine. And, being the nail polish-obsessed girl I am, I couldn't help but notice the glamorous oxblood shade she sported during her first encounter with Bond.

I was excited to learn OPI launched the color as part of the Skyfall collection, celebrating 50 years of James Bond films. Encompassing 12 shades and a top coat, it provides what OPI has dubbed as "seductive" and "dangerous" hues — to make any girl feel like a Bond Girl.

When it comes to beauty products, I try to be flexible. After all, there are so many great options, it can be difficult to commit. OPI, however, is one brand I am devoted to, thanks to its range of colors and long-lasting wear. (It's environmentally-friendly, too!)

As a bonus, OPI also created The Man With The Golden Gun, a top coat featuring flecks of 18-Carat gold. Because, no doubt, every "It" Girl can use some gold in her manicure.

I am anxious to re-create Bérénice's chic look with Skyfall on the top of her nails and GoldenEye underneath. Which colors are your favorite?
