2013 Met Gala Awards: "It" Girl Style

Wednesday, May 8, 2013
Two words signal the Christmas of the fashion industry: Met Gala. Each year, fashion and Hollywood's elite unite to celebrate the opening of the Metropolitan Museum's fashion exhibit at the Costume Institute. Besides a lovely way to spend an evening, the event gives us mere mortals a reason to ooh and aah over gorgeous gowns, make-up and hair.

This year's theme, "PUNK: Chaos to Couture" was followed through flawlessly by some. Others, not so much, but they still looked pretty. There have been plenty of "Best Dressed" coverage, but I'm not here for that.

Presenting...The "It" Moments of the 2013 Met Gala.

Best Train: Allison Williams

A Song of Ice and Shae: Sibel Kekilli Talks Peter Dinklage and More

Sunday, May 5, 2013
Sundays used to feel like doomsday, signaling the wrap of the weekend and the incoming dread of Monday morning. Thanks to my bestie, I now look at Sundays as Game of Thrones Day. And it's awesome.

Although I started a little late, I've been obsessed with Game of Thrones as soon as I watched the first episode of season one. Our apartment now includes six Pop! figurines, refrigerator magnets, shot glasses and GoT-inspired t-shirts. We're both very big Lannister fans — after all, they have power, wealth, wit, the coolest sigil and some of the best characters in the series.

Anyone who is a Game of Thrones fan, regardless of their feelings toward House Lannister, seems to love Tyrion. How could you not? He has some of the best one-liners, and is perhaps one of the most intelligent characters on the show. Thus, when presented the opportunity to have a quick chat with his mistress, Shae, I nearly dropped my goblet filled with Cersei's never-ending wine.

Why Audrey Hepburn Will Always Be My Idol

Saturday, May 4, 2013
I'll never forget the first time I watched Audrey Hepburn draped in Givenchy during the opening scene of Breakfast at Tiffany's. I  fell in love with her, and immediately thereafter rented Sabrina, My Fair Lady, Roman Holiday and Funny Face

Today marks what would have been Audrey's 84th birthday, and to this day, she remains one of the most vibrant icons in my life. She'll always be a style icon and notable actress, but the way she lived her life made her truly special.
